User Agreement

Welcome to Capnix—a simple and fresh AI bucket hat try-on imaging tool, focusing on casual daily wear experience. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Capnix, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and fully agreed to be bound by all the terms and conditions of this User Agreement, as well as our Privacy Policy. This Agreement is designed to be clear, straightforward, and focused on providing you with a safe, fun, and private experience while using the App. We have intentionally avoided complex legal jargon and unnecessary clauses, focusing instead on key guidelines for using the App responsibly, protecting your privacy, and ensuring a positive experience for all users. If you do not agree to any part of this Agreement or our Privacy Policy, you must immediately cease downloading, installing, and using the App.

This Agreement applies to all Users of the App, including but not limited to individuals who download, install, access, or use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the capacity to agree to these terms. If you are under 18 years of age, you are strictly prohibited from using the App, as we prioritize the privacy and safety of minors above all else. We do not design or intend the App for use by minors, and we ask that parents and guardians ensure minors do not access or use the App.

1. Access to the App—No Account Required, Full Anonymity

Capnix is designed with privacy at its core, and we do not require you to create an account, log in with any credentials, or provide any personal information to access all of the App’s core features. This means you can use the App completely and unconditionally anonymously, without sharing your name, email address, phone number, location, date of birth, or any other personal details that could identify you. You can download the App, upload portrait photos, generate bucket hat try-on effects, save your creations, and share them (if you choose) without ever providing any personal information. Our goal is to let you enjoy the App’s creative features freely, without sacrificing your privacy or being forced to share sensitive details.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use the device on which you download and install the App, and that your use of the App does not violate any rules or restrictions imposed by your device’s manufacturer or your internet service provider. We do not track your device, your location, your IP address, or any other technical information that could be used to identify you or your device. Your use of the App is entirely private and untracked, allowing you to explore different bucket hat styles and create try-on photos without any intrusion into your privacy.

2. Core Features and Usage Guidelines

Capnix offers a range of core features designed to help you create natural and realistic bucket hat try-on photos, including: uploading portrait photos, selecting from built-in bucket hat styles, generating AI-powered try-on effects, saving high-definition images to your device, and sharing your creations with others (if you choose). All these features are designed to be simple, intuitive, and private, with no unnecessary complexity or data collection.

When using the App’s features, you agree to the following usage guidelines:

• You will only upload portrait photos that you own or have obtained explicit, written consent to use from the respective owner. You will not upload any photos that belong to others without their permission, as this invades their privacy and violates our core principles of privacy protection.
• You will use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes—such as previewing bucket hat styles for daily wear, creating selfies, or sharing your creations with friends and family on social media. You will not use the App for commercial purposes, including but not limited to selling, promoting, or monetizing the try-on photos you generate, without our prior written approval.
• You will not tamper with, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, or use any third-party software, plugins, or tools to interfere with the App’s normal operation. This includes using tools to bypass the App’s features, manipulate the AI try-on effects, or access parts of the App that are not intended for user access. Such actions could compromise the App’s functionality and the privacy of all users.
• You will not use the App in a way that causes harm to the App, our servers, or other users. This includes but is not limited to uploading large files that could slow down the App, using the App repeatedly in a way that causes technical issues, or sharing links to malicious content through the App’s sharing features.
• You will comply with all applicable rules and guidelines of the platforms from which you download the App (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store), as well as any applicable laws related to using creative tools and sharing images online.

3. Privacy Protection—Our Top Priority

Your privacy is our most important commitment, and we adhere strictly to the privacy practices outlined in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to our unwavering dedication to protecting your privacy, including the following key commitments:

• We never collect, store, process, or retain any of your facial information, facial features, portrait photos, or personal images. When you upload a portrait photo to generate a try-on effect, the photo is used solely for that immediate purpose and is automatically, permanently deleted immediately after the try-on photo is generated. We do not keep backups, archives, or hidden copies of your portrait photos—there is no way for anyone to access or misuse them after processing.
• We never collect any personal data, including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number, location, IP address, device identifiers, or any other information that could identify you. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any other tools to monitor your activity inside or outside the App. Your use of the App is completely anonymous and untracked.
• Any try-on photos you save are stored only locally on your personal device—we have no access to them, no way to view them, and we never store them on our servers or any third-party platforms. You have full, exclusive control over your saved photos, and we never access, edit, or share them without your explicit action.
• We never sell, rent, trade, or share any of your private information with third parties. Your privacy is not a commodity, and we will never compromise it for profit or any other gain. Even the third-party services we use for essential App functionality are contractually obligated to never collect or share your data.
• We do not extract or use any facial features or biometric data from your photos. Our AI face and head recognition algorithm is used solely to generate natural try-on effects, and we never store or use any data related to your facial characteristics. Your facial privacy is fully protected at all times.

We understand that your trust in our privacy practices is essential, and we go to extraordinary lengths to ensure that your privacy is protected at every step of your experience with the App. Our no-data-collection approach and anonymous usage design are intended to let you create and explore without worry, knowing that your personal information and images are safe.

4. Content Guidelines—Prohibited Content

While we are committed to giving you complete creative freedom to generate bucket hat try-on photos, we also strive to maintain a safe, respectful, and positive experience for all users. For this reason, we strictly prohibit the use of the App to upload, generate, or share any inappropriate, harmful, or offensive content. This prohibition is in place to ensure that Capnix remains a tool for creativity, style, and self-expression—not for harm or misuse—and it does not compromise your privacy in any way.

You agree not to use the App to upload, generate, or share any content that falls into the following categories:

• Pornographic, sexually explicit, or vulgar content—including but not limited to portrait photos, generated try-on photos, or any other content that depicts nudity, sexual acts, or content designed to be sexually suggestive. This includes any content involving minors, as we take the protection of minors very seriously.
• Violent, bloody, or harmful content—including but not limited to portrait photos or try-on photos that depict violence, bloodshed, cruelty, self-harm, suicide, or dangerous behavior that could encourage harm to oneself or others. Such content has no place in a tool designed for casual, fun穿搭 exploration.
• Harassing, abusive, or discriminatory content—including but not limited to content that promotes hate speech, discrimination based on race, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic, or content that harasses, threatens, or insults others. We strive to maintain an inclusive environment for all users.
• Content that invades others’ privacy—including but not limited to uploading portrait photos of others without their explicit, written consent, or generating try-on photos using photos of strangers. You may only use photos of yourself or others who have agreed to have their image used in the App.
• Illegal or inappropriate content—including but not limited to content that promotes illegal activities, spreads misinformation, violates public morality, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others (such as copying copyrighted images without permission).
• Content that contains malware, viruses, or other harmful software, or links to such content. This could harm other users’ devices or compromise their privacy.

Importantly, our enforcement of these guidelines does not involve invading your privacy. We do not monitor your portrait photos, generated try-on photos, or App usage—all processing happens locally on your device, and we have no access to any of your content. We rely on the integrity of our users to use the App responsibly, and we take action only if we become aware of clear violations (such as user reports of publicly shared inappropriate content). When we do take action, we do so in a way that protects your privacy—we never collect or store your content, and any action (such as restricting access to the App for repeat violators) is based on non-identifiable information.

5. Age Restriction—18 Years and Older Only

Capnix is intended for use only by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the capacity to agree to this Agreement. We do not allow minors to use the App, as they may not fully understand the importance of privacy or the implications of uploading portrait photos or sharing images online. Minors may not be able to make informed decisions about their privacy, even with our strict no-data-collection policies.

If we become aware that a user is under 18 years of age, we will take immediate steps to block their access to the App and ensure that no data is processed or retained. We are committed to protecting the privacy and safety of minors, and this age restriction is a key part of that commitment. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that minors in their care do not access or use the App.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights related to the App—including but not limited to the AI algorithms, built-in bucket hat templates, software, code, design, text, graphics, and any other content provided through the App—are owned exclusively by us or our authorized licensors. This Agreement does not transfer any intellectual property rights from us to you; you only receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

With respect to the try-on photos you generate using the App: You retain full ownership rights to the try-on photos you create for personal, non-commercial use. You may save, share, or use these photos as you wish, provided that you do not violate this Agreement or the rights of others. However, you may not use the try-on photos for commercial purposes (such as selling or promoting products) without our prior written consent.

You agree not to infringe on our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of any third party when using the App. This includes but not limited to copying, modifying, distributing, or using the App’s bucket hat templates, software, or other content without our permission. We reserve the right to take action to protect our intellectual property rights, including restricting access to the App for users who violate this provision.

7. App Updates and Modifications

We may occasionally update the App to improve its functionality, add new bucket hat styles, fix bugs, or enhance privacy protections. These updates may include new features, changes to existing features, or improvements to the AI try-on algorithm. We will notify you of major updates through the App (via a clear, unobtrusive notification) the next time you open it. You agree to download and install all necessary updates to ensure the App works properly and to maintain the highest level of privacy protection.

We may also modify this Agreement from time to time to reflect updates to the App or our privacy practices. However, any modifications will never reduce your privacy protections—we will never start collecting personal information, facial data, or any other sensitive information, and we will never change our practices to allow for data sharing or tracking. Your continued use of the App after any modifications to this Agreement means that you agree to the revised terms. We encourage you to review this Agreement periodically to stay informed about your rights and responsibilities.

8. Termination of Use

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We may restrict or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated this Agreement, our Privacy Policy, or our content guidelines. This includes but not limited to uploading inappropriate content, using the App for commercial purposes without permission, tampering with the App, or using the App in a way that compromises the privacy or safety of other users.

Upon termination of your access to the App, you must immediately cease using the App and delete all copies of the App from your device. Termination will not affect any rights or obligations that have already accrued, including your ownership of the try-on photos you generated and saved to your device. We will not be liable to you for any loss or inconvenience caused by the termination of your access to the App, especially if the termination is due to a violation of this Agreement.
